Lighting the Way to Smarter Solar Choices
Find the latest solar panels, generators, lights, and accessories to ensure you find the best fit for your needs.
Picking a solar product should take 10 minutes, not an afternoon. There’s too much out there, too many brands, too many ‘best of’ lists that all recommend the same five things, too many spec sheets that technically say everything and tell you nothing. Solaraty is where we sort it out. Not by listing every product on Amazon, but by actually reading what people say after they’ve lived with these things for six months. Then we pick the ones worth your money and explain why.
Find What You’re Looking For
Solaraty covers the full range of consumer solar products, broken into categories so you can get straight to what matters to you.
Solar Lights
The biggest category on the site, and for good reason, solar lights are the easiest entry point into solar, they have a real impact on your electricity bill, and the quality range is enormous. We cover outdoor solar lights, pathway lights, fence lights, porch lights, security lights, string lights, and about a dozen more. The hub post (“Best Outdoor Solar Lights”) is a good starting point if you’re not sure what you need yet.
Solar Panels
From small 100W starter kits to full off-grid setups with battery banks and inverters, this section is for people who want to actually generate power, not just charge a phone. We cover RV panels, portable folding panels, monocrystalline panels, and full kit systems. Fair warning: this section gets technical. We try to explain the specs that matter and ignore the ones that are just marketing.
Solar Gadgets
Everything that doesn’t fit neatly into lights or panels. Solar watches, solar attic fans, solar charge controllers, camping lanterns, patio umbrellas with built-in lights. Some of these are genuinely useful. Some are novelties. We’ll tell you which is which.
Solar Power
Generators, power banks, battery chargers, phone chargers. If you want to store solar energy and use it on demand, whether that’s during a blackout, at a campsite, or just to keep your car battery from dying over winter, this is the section.
Solar Camping
Solar gear built specifically for outdoor use. Lanterns, shower bags, tent lights, camping solar panels, full RV kits. Lighter, tougher, and more weather-resistant than regular solar gear, because it needs to be.
Solar Garden
Fountains, water pumps, bird bath heaters, wind chimes, garden stakes. Most of these work without any wiring at all, which makes them genuinely simple upgrades for outdoor spaces.
Solar Home
The higher-ticket stuff: solar security cameras, solar-powered air conditioners, driveway gate openers, carport kits. More expensive upfront, but the right call for specific situations. We cover these more carefully than the cheaper categories, more money means more to get wrong.
